Collins Aerospace is a leading manager and reseller of satellite connectivity from Viasat, SES and Iridium. Its onboard infrastructure acts as the interface between aircraft, satellite network and customer.

The proprietary ARINCDirect platform is Collins’ full-service solution which facilitates Viasat’s JetConneX, LuxStream in partnership with SES, and Iridium’s Certus. It also includes subscription management, billing, support and cybersecurity.

LuxStream is the closest Collins gets to its own connectivity service, offering SES’ GEO Ku-band solution, primarily for large cabin jets and VIP operators.

Collins’ ARINC infrastructure makes it a long-established aviation communications provider. Its avionics integration, cabin systems and operational software mean it remains a significant player, even in a Starlink world.

In addition to connectivity, Collins provides a complete portfolio of capabilities to business jet operators with a complete suite of tools and applications, from flight support and weather solutions to scheduling services, including as a standard package, stringent cybersecurity and a 24/7/365 support network to all customers.

Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, Collins Aerospace is a subsidiary of RTX Corporation, specialising in aerospace and defence technology.
